Can you believe today is the last day of July?! I remember how excited I was when it was officially summer and now it seems like fall is on the horizon. Tear.
Before I get started with today’s post, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who gave their input about the shoe conundrum. I ended up deciding on the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 14:
I had found them available a Footlocker.com…. but then when I went to check out, I got an error message that said they were out of stock! This was super annoying because it let me put them in my cart and everything. How lame is that? I’m going to go shoe shopping tomorrow and may just purchase something from a local running store. I’ll keep you updated.
Things Loved in July
Ebates: If you are a big internet shopper and have never used ebates then you are missing out! You simply create an account and earn cash back by making purchases from your favorite online stores using their referral links. I love ebates because in addition to cash back, they have the most recent coupon codes for different stores. I had found a 10% off coupon for Foot Action + the 5% cash back that ebates was offering. I joined last year and have gotten $81 back since then. The embarrassing part is that half of that has probably come from Sephora They have 8% cash back there occassionally and that is the best time to order makeup! Shameless plug for my referral link.
Summer Berries: I keep buying blueberries and blackberries from the farmer’s market and they are SO good. In addition to those, someone at my work brought me ANOTHER huge bag of blueberries from her yard. In case you didn’t know this about me, the way to me heart is through my stomach.
New Foam Roller: I purchased this foam LuxFit 6×18 foam roller (<—heads up, referral link) off of Amazon and have been using it every day. So far it’s helping. It hurts but I guess in a good way.
Rompers: If loving rompers is wrong then I don’t want to be right. Please don’t ask me what I’m doing in this picture because it’s kind of a long story…
Amazon Prime Music & Playlists: Did you know that if you have Amazon Prime, you have free access to Amazon music? You can add songs and playlists to your library for free. If you have the Prime smartphone app then you don’t even have to add anything to your library…. you can just stream it for free basically.
I first went through and added a bunch of songs that I love to my library. I play them on shuffle every day at work. Then I realized Prime already had playlists, and these have been great to add into the mix as well. Here are my favorites:
- Hip-Hop Workout: still a sucker for “Black and Yellow” by Wiz Khalifa
- Britney Spears and More: Because duh it’s Britney. I listen to this at the gym.
- Relaxing Acoustic Pop: Frequently have this on in the background around the house
That’s it for today. Hope you guys have an awesome weekend!
