Sometimes the words "joyful movement" float around in the intuitive eating space. And while I think it's wonderful if movement brings you joy, that's not the case for many people.
Sometimes movement is neutral feeling.
Sometimes it's just tolerable.
Feeling like you have to love or even just enjoy movement when you don't may actually be a deterrent to being consistent with some sort of routine.
Instead of trying to find joyful movement, I recommend focusing on what's accessible and sticking with an internal reason why movement is important to you. ❀️
